Junior Club Cricket
Junior Club cricket is a hard ball version of Kwik cricket, and as such it requires the use of protective equipment. We provide all of this for training and matches. Some players, over a period of time, end up providing their own. The only kit we don't provide is a protective box which each player is required to wear at both training and matches when batting or wicket keeping.
For training, again loose sports clothing, T shirt or polo , track suit bottoms and trainers.
For matches we like the players to be in cricket whites.
Junior Club Cricket is split into three age groups:
U11 for children up to school year 6. Progression is normally from Kwik Cricket, this can be at any age, the determining factor being ability as safety is our main concern.
U13 for children up to school year 8.
U15 for children up to school year 10.
Matches for U11 are played on Sunday mornings, these take place both home and away, match selection is based on the players training attendance.
